Meet Christian

Christian served as a Psychological Examiner for the Australian Army Psychology Corps until 2016 and remains a member of the Army's Contingent Workforce. 

He first learned about WithYouWithMe through the Directorate of Contingent and Workforce Management - Army when they posted an expression of interest for contingent workforce members to become Data Analysts.

Christian's journey

Christian was running a small business providing sales advisory services for building products when he signed up for WYWM. 

He spent six months completing the MuleSoft Developer training pathway, Azure Fundamentals and the Robotics Process Automation (RPA) pathway.
"The experience was professionally rewarding because I became certified in two fields, MuleSoft development and Azure."

Squad success

Following his training, Christian secured a role as an Integration Specialist in a squad deployed into Rabobank Australia.

Christian’s new career enables him to develop transferable technology skills which apply across a range of digital sub-disciplines.
“For example, if one wants to automate a manual, repetitive business process, then it's helpful to understand how the applications share data through API implementation.”

Christian plans to remain a technologist and is happy with the new knowledge, skills and experience he's gained in data analytics and integration.

A commitment to continued learning

Since securing his role at Rabobank, Christian has also completed the Advanced RPA Developer training and is currently preparing for the UiPath Advanced RPA Developer certification exam.

He’s also commenced training in a less technical digital sub-discipline – business analysis – and is progressing with the self-paced Business Analyst Foundations course in his spare time.
