Supporting Indigenous individuals into meaningful careers

Explore our program

We begin by acknowledging the traditional custodians of the land in which WithYouWithMe operates – the Gadigal People (for our Sydney HQ) and the Algonquin Anishnaabeg People (for our Ottawa office).

At WithYouWithMe, we are firmly committed to levelling up participation of Indigenous peoples in the tech workforce.

We recognise that your heritage provides you with an important and unique perspective that's missing from many workplaces. And we are working hard to change that.

Our Indigenous Program provides First Nations, Metis, and Inuit in Canada and Aboriginal and Torre Strait Islanders in Australia with the ability to break into high-paying, high-demand tech roles by providing free role matching, tech training and job placement.

Whether you are new to technology or a tech professional, our aim is to give you the opportunity to secure a meaningful career path, regardless of your prior experience.

If you are ready to see what tech roles await you, sign up to our Indigenous Program.

How it works

The first step is to take our online self-paced assessments, which will generate a comprehensive report covering your unique skills, aptitude, learning style and ideal cultural fit.

From there, we’ll recommend some high-demand tech roles you would naturally excel at – and give you access to our free, industry accredited training.

You can speak to a member of our team or one of our Indigenous team members at any time for personal support and guidance.

Often for our rural and remote Indigenous communities, we provide group learning options (like bootcamps), loan of devices (computers or laptops) or connectivity support (to assist with internet access issues).

Finally, once you have completed your training, we have a global network of like-minded partners who are looking to employ talent just like you into their teams – and we’ll guide you through this process.

If you are ready to see what tech roles await you, sign up to our Indigenous Program.

Our Indigenous community partners

Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business logo
As a certified member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB), we engage with like-minded organisations across Canada to provide meaningful support and opportunities to Indigenous communities. We regularly engage in CCAB forums and events to raise awareness of the support available and provide leadership on how organisations can be more inclusive of Indigenous individuals.
Indigenous Work Stars logo
Through our partnership with Australian Indigenous Work Stars (IWS), we have committed to providing indigenous community members with free access to skilling mapping, accredited digital skills training and where appropriate job placement with some of Australians leading employers. Together with IWS we run special Indigenous Career Accelerator Events aimed at supporting individuals through their WithYouWithMe journey.
Indigenous Friends Association logo
The Indigenous Friends Association (IFA) is a Canadian Indigenous-led tech not-for-profit organization that ignites the Spirit of Indigenous communities to create, engage and renovate digital technologies through ethical and communal values.  Together with IFA we are supporting Indigenous into rewarding tech careers with Canada's biggest employers.
