Our history

How we started

WithYouWithMe was founded in 2015 with a mission to address underemployment, starting with military veterans transitioning into civilian work. Our founders, themselves veterans, saw capable people repeatedly overlooked - not due to a lack of ability, but because their experience didn’t align with traditional hiring pathways.

Drawing on the military’s use of aptitude testing and targeted training, WithYouWithMe set out to apply the same principles in the civilian workforce. To support this, we invested early in building technology that could better identify potential and guide skills development at scale - a product we called Potential.

Over time, this work evolved into a robust workforce intelligence platform, shaped by years of research, delivery, and close collaboration with customers. As the platform matured, it became clear it could operate as a dedicated product in its own right, and Potential has since evolved into Greenbeam, now operating independently. WithYouWithMe continues to use the Greenbeam platform to support skills identification, development, and role alignment within organisations.

Today, WithYouWithMe focuses on what has always mattered most - identifying potential, developing real skills, and connecting people to meaningful work. Our approach is informed by insights from more than 100,000 individuals globally and underpins workforce programs that deliver lasting outcomes for both people and organisations.

Our talent creation services leverage a ‘train, hire and deploy’ model to provide organisations with high-demand diverse tech talent – so they can address critical capability gaps while making a positive social impact.

Our diverse talent pool of more than 100,000 is made up of people from underrepresented groups including military veterans, neurodivergent individuals, First Nations peoples, and women in tech.

We take a holistic, skills-based approach to talent creation, aligning each candidate’s natural cognitive abilities, existing skills and ideal culture fit with an organisation’s requirements, then delivering rapid training programs to make them job ready.

Using a proprietary assessment engine, Greenbeam builds a comprehensive view of an individual’s current capabilities and learning potential, then connects those insights to relevant development pathways and role alignment.
