WithYouWithMe has partnered with Australian telecommunications and technology firm tech2GROUP to offer a significant number of employment opportunites for veterans contributing to the National Broadband Network rollout.
The partnership will see more than 400 job opportunities open for veterans to contribute to the nation building NBN project. Tech2 has various roles available for the rollout, with jobs available right now. After completing the intial training pathway, veterans have the option of establishing their own company to take advantage of the long-term opportunities available following the NBN rollout.
tech2 is a successful Australian technology company. Founded in 1998 by a former veteran, the company was partly acquired by iiNet in 2014. The company now provides services to assist with the NBN rollout to more than 8 million homes and business across the country.
WithYouWithMe is today establishing the tech2 Veteran Pathway, which will help place veterans into these great roles. The best part is that the WithYouWithMe Pathway is helping upskill veterans for the roles, with tailored skills based training and assistance establishing their business. Those on the pathway will undergo a 12 week paid traineeship and small business course, before establishing themselves as a subcontractor for tech2 with the opportunity to earn up to $90,000 per year. There is also the option to becoming an employee if contracting isn’t for you.
The Pathway is all at no charge to the veteran, with no prior experience required. You also don’t have to come from a technology background in Defence to be considered and this could be a great role for anyone across all ranks and services.
We have urgent roles available now in a number of locations including Sydney, Melbourne, regional Victoria, Gold Coast and Perth. More jobs are set to become available each month, far exceeding the initial 400 on offer.
